"The hare and the foliage dance in the wild garden."

Early Saturday morning, like 2 a.m., Babe and I arrived at Windstar in Oklahoma.  This time I had my camera.  This is a picture of one of my winnings.  We stayed until 11 a.m.!
We had lots of fun and came home "even".
I slept all day Saturday once I got home!

Sunday I went shopping!
I had 4 stops on my list, Goodwill, Home Goods, Joann Fabrics and the grocery store.
I got these fall items at Goodwill!

This purple bird is from Home Goods.
I had such a better visit this time!  I got there as soon as the store opened, so it was easy, breezy strolling and looking!  I saw lots of stuff, but this purple bird "spoke" to me, so home he came!  He looks adorable on my coffee table and coordinates well with the colors in this room.  One day I'll capture the techniques of taking good pictures.  LOL!

I included Joanne Fabric
on my shopping list as they were having a
Labor Day Sale and decorator fabric was 50% off.
I have been looking and searching online for fabric
to recover my kitchen table chairs.  It was HARD!  I've seen this material online and while the "trend" for "french script" may be going out, I really liked it.  But at $20+ a yard, it was a little out of my budget.  But Joanne had it!  Orignally $26 per yard
I got it for $10 a yard!!  Woo Hoo.  Why $10?  It was hung in the wrong area that was for $19.99 a yard fabric so they sold it to me at that sale price!

After measuring and cutting fabric,
I ironed out the creases.  I also purchased fabric guard to spray on after recovering all 4 chairs.

This is the second time
I have recoved these cushions.
I only removed the black cover and did not remove the old fabric.  I'm lazy.
Then I simply stapled the black cover on again!

 The fabric in French says,
"The hare and the foliage dance in the wild garden".
Weird I know, but kinda reminds me of me and my Babe!  He the hare and me the wild foliage,
our lives together the wild garden!

The fabric is a neutral color with bits of gold
and ties in well with the kitchen and living room.
I like it!  One day soon I will have Babe attach seats properlt back to chairs!

But while I was out shopping, I came home to this!

Yea!!  I ordered this pendant lighting here http://www.lightinguniverse.com/products/view.aspx?sku=771945&cid=t885
I got the bronze tile finish.
I ordered this on Tuesday and it arrived on Friday!
I'm Happy!  Little, Bitty Damn Houze Happy!

Loved your finds, though I am envious of you getting that fabric at such a great price! The script looks great on the chairs. I am wondering what to do with a purple bird.

I bought that same fabric to make a window valance! I never knew what it said so thank's for translating. You can either give me your chairs or I'll give you the valance but they belong together!

Thanks Donna! The purple bird is sitting on my coffe table! The colors in my living room have purple, this really ties it together! "She" is plump and cute!
