Start to Finish
This is a very old desser. Sits at the foot of my bed. I cleaned it really good, and the noticed that the wood is really, well, old looking. I've had this dresser for about 10 years. Bought it at a flea market. It's served it's purpose well. Until I find something else. Right now it holds my bed linen in 2 drawers and odds and end (stuff) in the top drawer.
Primer - 1st coat. I put on 2 coats of primer.

It looks good from here but if I know you it will change by weeks end. I love the new knobs. Connie over at Heartwood Roses has a blog today on chalk paint you might enjoy. Love the chest at the foot of the bed. Great design!
At first I thought, "just white?"
But your placement at the foot of your all white bed and the narrow passage way between dresser and the wall - perfect choice.
Storage that blends in - knobs are very cute!
Cheers!
I think you did a great job on the piece, & I know it's hard to use spray paint on something like that. I was just at Hob Lob today looking at knobs -- love it when they are on sale!
What a fantastic makeover. I love the hardware you selected. Goes so well with that darling chair!
I think it looks nice! I love white painted furniture. You can't go wrong with white.
I looks great!! Good job. :)
It turned out beautiful - and those handles are just gorgeous!
Looks great! The chair sets it all off:)
Thanks Erin!
Job well done on your DIY painting! You definitely did a fine job on refurbishing your dresser. From an old-looking dresser, you turned it into a fabulous-looking drawer. What I like the most is the drawer pulls. They look chic and apt for the newly painted drawer.
Thanks Darryl for your nice comment!
