DONE!

This is BEFORE.  I purchased the faux steel adhesive foil over a year ago when I painted my kitchen cabinets.  Today was the day to tackle this project.

First I removed the panel from the dishwasher.  This required removing a cabinet door also to get to the bottom screw on the dishwasher.

Then I cleaned both panels (door and bottom) with a cleaning solution and finally a vinegar and water solution (window cleaner).

Measured and cut bottom section first.

Per directions, I sprayed water on piece I was covering and applied the faux steel product.
That went pretty well!

Next, the door panel.  This was a little more challenging.  I did not have a squeege, so I used a plastic spatula.  It worked ok.

I'm satisfied with the results!  My babe just came over and he wants to redo it.  The door panel does have a few "bubbles" and he wants to get them out.  Not today though.  I do have enough left to again.  Perhaps he'll do it tomorrow? This compliments my refrigerator and stove for a fraction of the cost of a new dishwasher.  I don't even USE my dishwasher! And it works perfectly!  I do run a cycle probably once a month just to make sure it works!
