I found 2 brand new, unopened packages of miniature random sparkle lights (150 lights each) at the Goodwill for $2.99

I did this on Memorial Day-Monday evening. Right at dusk they came on with a timer set to other outdoor lighting! I have the timer set to stay on for only 2 hours. Of course I can always change that if needed. I must say I like it! It REALLY brightens up that corner of the yard! Hope these hold up through summer! Photos taken with cell phone, so....

i always want to do something like this, but my trees aren't in my yard, they are more on the sides of my house. enjoy!
I love this! It came out so pretty. We do this a lot in on palm trees in the desert.
